#TSRGamedayStyle: Maryland Terrapins

Maryland Terrapins fans are really proud of two things — the state of Maryland and turtles. Their colors are the same as the Maryland state flag and their team name was inspired by the diamondback terrapins found in the Chesapeake Bay. While this may not seem like a very intimidating mascot, fans warn opponents to "Fear the Turtle." You have to admit it's a pretty scary looking turtle.

Regardless of your feelings about turtles, Maryland fans are loud and proud, especially when it comes to putting the state's flag on display. The football team frequently dons special uniforms and helmets featuring its unique design. I decided to run with that concept when putting together my Maryland Terrapins gameday outfit inspiration for a Terps fan who's literally on the run. Get it?!
